Safety & FAQs

At Laser Skirmish, your safety is our top priority.

Laser Skirmish is thrilling—but also safe. There's no paint, no mess, and no projectiles. Our taggers emit infrared light (just like a TV remote), making them completely eye-safe

Epic Fun, Zero Worries

We ensure player safety with the following rules:

  • Players must wear long pants and covered shoes

  • No climbing on trees, fences, or structures

  • No physical contact – keep at least an arm’s length from other players

  • No running (for school sessions only)

  • Players must take due care and attention while moving around the field

All sessions include a staff-delivered safety briefing before play begins.

Our laser skirmish system is designed for safe, robust, high-tech gameplay.

Gaming guns are built from strong polycarbonate or metal—so they’re tough and look cool! We also offer smaller, lightweight models for younger players.

This includes:

  • No lasers – despite the name, there are no actual lasers. We use infrared light (just like your TV remote).

  • No projectiles – no paintballs, no bruises.

  • Cool sound & light effects (SFX & LFX) – over 18,000 in-game sound effects in our SATR3 system!

Is Laser Skirmish Safe?

Yes!
Our equipment uses a harmless, invisible infrared beam with a range of up to 100 metres. The system features realistic sound effects, multiple firing modes, and immersive mission gameplay.

We have a range of gaming guns available, with different sizes and weights. We’ll help you choose the right model based on the player's age, size, and fitness level.

✅ Our equipment is the best on the market, and yes—we’re covered by public liability insurance.

No protective eyewear is needed.
Laser Skirmish doesn’t use real lasers, despite the name. It’s completely safe infrared light, similar to a TV remote.

Parent/Child Ratios

Laser Skirmish is not a formally supervised activity, so we ask that a responsible adult supervises all children at all times.

Parents are encouraged to join in the fun by playing alongside their children or walking with them on the battlefield.

All players under 18 must have a Membership Form signed by a parent or guardian before play.

Recommended Supervision Guidelines

  • Ages 5 and under: Parent must play with child (shared ticket); remain within arm’s reach

  • Ages 6–10: Parent plays on the same team as the children

  • Ages 11–14: At least one person over 16 should play alongside the group

While Laser Skirmish is not a child care service, we do take safety and fun seriously.

We believe in: “Every Game. Every Gamer.”
